Lot Essay

The block-letter "W" on the bottom refers to Andrew Craig Walker, who was employed as a modeller at the Tucker China Factory between 1826 and 1832. This pitcher is rare in that it is marked by the modeller, as well as with the name of the person it was made for and the date.
