A SILVER TABLE SERVICE DESIGNED BY OSCAR GUNDLACH-PEDERSEN
Oscar Gundlach-Pedersen (1886-1960) was trained as an architect at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts and designed many important buildings in Denmark. He was the manager of the Georg Jensen Silversmithy from 1927-1931, and his silver designs are notable for simple and clean lines with very little ornament. One of his most famous designs is a toast rack with scrolling dividers (lot 396).
