Kay Fisker (1893-1965) was one of the most influential designers and architects working in Denmark in the 1920s and 1930s. He trained with architect Anton Rosen, who also collaborated with Georg Jensen early in his career (see lot 27). Fisker designed for many media, and his silver demonstrates a taste for the geometric forms. This pitcher is similar to one he designed for A. Michelson in 1926.
