Alev Ebuzziya Siesbye (b. 1938) received her degree in sculpture from the Academy of Fine Arts in Istanbul. Designing ceramics and clay pieces, Siesbye has worked in Turkey, Germany, and Denmark. She founded her own workshop in Copenhagen in 1961. Siesbye worked with Georg Jensen from 1986 to 1988 to translate her sculpture and ceramics training into seven pieces of silver hollowware for the firm.
