THE PORCELAIN CIRCA 1760, BLUE CROSSED SWORDS MARK, THE DECORATION PROBABLY LATER
The gilt branch handle with pink flowers and gilt foliage terminals, painted with a gallant and companion and a rural family in wooded landscape vignettes between gilt and black line borders, the cover edged with a puce-scale pattern, the top pierced with gilt encircled apertures (some minute chipping to rim of cover)
