CIRCA 1730, BLUE CROSSED SWORDS MARK, GILDER'S 57. MARK, DREHER'S MARK
Potted slightly off centre, each side painted with merchants at discussion by packages, barrels and tents, with buildings and ships nearby before distant mountains, within elongated gilt cartouches with iron-red diaper panels and Böttger-lustre panels edged with gilt, puce and red scrolls, divided at the sides by branches of indianische Blumen down from the rim, the interior with merchants among barrels by a building before a distant shore, within a similar cartouche below a gilt Laub-und-Bandelwerk border (areas of wear to gilding, one scene with minute scratches)
