Gilt at Augsburg in the Seuter workshop, the bombé lower part with vignettes of figures in landscapes within scroll cartouches, the canted corners with foliage strapwork and husks, below a scalloped gilt band border edged with C-scrolls and husks, the domed cover with vignettes divided by panels of strapwork below an octagonal knop finial, within a similar border and broad gilt band rim (small area of wear to edge of one panel and border on cover, slight wear to finial)
