Each painted with a harbour scene with buildings, merchants at discussion and boats being loaded with goods, within shaped quatrefoil cartouches with Böttger-lustre panels and iron-red and purple scrolls and enclosing miniature chinoiserie figures above and below, the lobed borders gilt with bands of laub-und-Bandelwerk, the undersides of the borders with scattered sprays of indianische Blumen, gilt line rims (one with very slight wear to gilding, other broken through into several pieces and restored)
