CIRCA 1730, GILDER'S 44. MARK
Painted in the Höroldt workshop with a man seated at a table laden with a flask and a bowl, a hound seated at his feet, a boy playing with a tethered bird behind him, within a shaped quatrefoil gilt cartouche with gilt scrolls enclosing Böttger-lustre panels and issuing purple and iron-red scrolls, within a Gitterwerk border and gilt line rim, the underside with three flowering branches of indianische Blumen (very small areas of wear to gilding)
