CIRCA 1740, BLUE CROSSED SWORDS MARKS, PRESSNUMMER 24 TO CUP
The cup exterior and underside of the saucer with pale-lilac grounds, the cup of flared quatrefoil section, the lozenge-shaped section angular handle with curved points and gilt with foliage, the ground reserved with three quayside scenes within brown-line quatrefoil cartouches, the interior with a vignette of boating figures within an iron-red double concentric circle cartouche, the saucer with fishermen hauling nets from a boat in a wooded river-landscape with a schloss, within a similar circular cartouche, gilt line rims (lower tip of handle with minute wear to gilding)
