CIRCA 1745, BLUE CROSSED SWORDS MARK TO BACK OF BASE
Modelled by J.J. Kändler and J.F. Eberlein, wearing a white headscarf, a fur-lined turquoise cape and black bodice, pulling her overskirt up slightly with her right hand, the overskirt painted with indianische Blumen and with central vertical yellow borders and a silvered hem, her puce underskirt with a white hem, resting a gilt-edged fan against her chin, standing on a mound base applied with flowers and foliage (chipping to two leaves and areas of wear to silvered hem)

Another example with its companion was in the Klemperer Collection, see Ludwig Schnorr von Carolsfeld, Porzellansammlung Gustav von Klemperer (Dresden, 1928), p. 139, nos. 542-3, where he points out that this model was begun by Kändler in 1743 and finished by Eberlein in 1744.
