CIRCA 1745, BLUE CROSSED SWORDS MARK, PRESSNUMMER 21 TO BOTH
With pom-pom and branch finial and branch and leaf handles, applied and moulded all over with bands of white blossom with iron-red and yellow stamen, the interior of the écuelle and cover richly gilt, the cover interior reserved with a vignette of figures in conversation before a villa in a landscape within a circular cartouche of interlocking foliage scrolls divided by diaper panels (small section of finial tendril lacking, one handle restored, minor chipping to extremities, slight wear to gilt rims and some scratches to gilt interiors)
The stand 10¼ in. (26 cm.) diam.
