CIRCA 1755, FAINT BLUE CROSSED SWORDS MARK
The jug of pear-shaped spirally-moulded form, the front and reverse with twisted rococo cartouches moulded with scrolls, foliage and wings, enriched in puce and gilding and each enclosing a bouquet and flower-spray, the sides with scattered flower-sprays, a scroll-moulded handle at one side, the spirally-moulded domed lobed cover with two similar cartouches below a blue flower finial, gilt line rim (minor chipping to finial, some small areas of wear to gilding)
