A MEISSEN FIGURE OF A PASTRY SELLER FROM THE CRIS DE PARIS SERIES
CIRCA 1756, BLUE CROSSED SWORDS MARK TO THE BACK OF BASE
Modelled by P. Reinicke and J.J. Kändler, wearing a white headscarf, yellow bodice and lilac skirt, her apron painted with indianische Blumen, her basket overflowing with flat-breads and pastries, standing on a mound base moulded with gilt scrolls and applied with flowers (her raised index finger restored, very minor chipping to extremities, chip to edge of base and slight wear to gilding)
