A MEISSEN DEAD-LEAF GREEN GROUND THIMBLE
CIRCA 1735-40
Of conventional tapering form, painted with two vignettes of figures before buildings in a landscape within gilt elongated quatrefoil cartouches, the ground edged with gilt-lines below a dimpled unglazed upper part, the interior richly gilt (slight wear to gilt rim)
