Modelled by J.W. Lanz, in a black hat, puce and gilt chequered waistcoat and black breeches, seated astride a work-horse, fashioning a scythe blade, on an oval partially-turquoise washed mound base edged with foliage-moulded scrolls enriched in gilding (head of hammer broken off with associated restoration to handle)
