Of baluster form, the triple-scroll wishbone handle moulded with puce foliage, the spout moulded with a puce foliage escutcheon flanked by scale ornament, the body painted by Thomae with figures on the shore of a broad estuary or lake, standing by a group of trees before a distant bridge to a castle, above a gilt band footrim, the shallow-domed cover with a wooded river-landscape vignette and a yellow and puce tulip finial, gilt dentil rims (jug with footrim chip, small shallow chip to gilt dentil border, handle with flaking to puce enamel, finial with slight chipping to leaf terminals)
