Executed on 18 July 1953
This work is executed on the verso of the first lithograph of the illustrated book by Tristan Tzara, Parler seul, Maeght Editeur, 1948-1950. The illustrated book, sold with the drawing, includes 74 lithographs by Joan Miró, of which 52 in colours. Loose as issued in original wrappers, with lithographic design and collage on upper panel, slipcase. 1st Miró illustrated edition, copy number 163 of 250, signed by the author and the artist.

Doctor Paul Hänggi, Basel, a gift from the artist on 18 July 1953.
