with a pair of compasses with divider, ink, pencil and extension legs, dividers, proportional dividers, ink and pencil bow compasses with turned ivory handles, two ruling pens with ivory handles, one unscrewing to reveal pin pricker, a cylindrical ivory lead case, spanner tool and a narrow ivory 6-inch rule, the case lined in maroon velvet with card flap in the lid (protractor lacking) and bolt fastener, covered in black leather and black fabirc

This set is very similar to the example illustrated in Hambly Drawing Instruments 1580-1980 (London, 1988), fig. 164; it is also similar to sets illustrated in the catalogue of Moreau Crozet of Paris.
