A 19th century 18ct. gold quarter repeating pocket watch, fob and chain
the openface keywind movement with duplex escapement and dumb quarter repeat, with rose-cut diamond end stone, signed Hawley, London, the gold curb-link watch chain suspending a gold, cornelian fob, the matrix engraved with the armorial for the Earl of Mexborough. (3)

This lot was formerly the property of the 3rd Earl of Mexborough and is accompanied by two mansuscripts detailing provenance.
