A Chinese grisaille and gilt 'Utica' dish, circa 1760
decorated to the centre with Concorde holding a fasces and Liberty with her cap on a pole above a catouche inscribed 'Utica', all within a shell-scroll band -- 12¾in. (32.3cm.) diam.

Lot Essay

An 'Utica' saucer dish was sold in our King Street rooms on the 17 June 2003, lot 129 as part of the J. Louis Binder Collection.
