A pair of Imari deep bowls, Circa 1700
painted and gilt with sprays of chrysanthemums and peonies issuing from rockwork -- 5 3/8in. (13.5cms) diam; a lobed dish painted in coloured enamels and gilt with a karashishi in a flowering garden, the rim with crane in flight -- 7in. (17.8cms) diam; a barbed rim dish decorated with flowers and foliage -- 8¾in. (22.2cms) diam; a box and cover modelled as a bird; a blue and white dish modelled as a lotus leaf; a pair of fluted Imari dishes; and a hexagonal polychrome dish decorated with a dragon, landscape and floral panels.
