The fondeur and doreur, Henri Picard, was based at 6, rue Jarente, Paris, from 1831 to 1839, then moved to and stayed at 10, rue de la Perle until 1864. The firm supplied services for work on the petits appartements of Emperor Napolon III at the Louvre, and was known for its fine quality production of pièces de table and garnitures de cheminée.
