The shaped top inlaid with a musical trophy and foliage, above a similarly decorated frieze, the front fitted with a drawer, on cabriole legs headed by foliate clasps and terminating in acanthus-cast sabots

The marquetry on this English writing-table relates closely to inlay found on a library-table supplied to the Duke of Northumberland by the firm of Blake of Mount Street, London.
