A POLISH SILVER-GILT HANUKKAH LAMP
MARK OF ANTONI RIEDEL, WARSAW, 1887
The cartouche shaped back plate decorated with a central menorah motif, centred within columns, further decorated with lions and an openwork crown, all within a foliate scroll and rocaille border, the shaped rectangular base suppored on scroll and ball feet and with eight fonts, each supported on an eagle, with a servant light and a vessel for oil - 13 7/8in. (35.2cm.) high, 42oz.
