AN EDWARD VIII SILVER BASTING SPOON
MARK OF RICHARD COMYNS, LONDON, 1936
Tapering cylindrical cannon handle with reeded bands and baluster finial, the back of the bowl engraved with two crests and inscription - 15in. (38.2cm.) long, 5oz.
The inscription reads: Copy of the Salusbury Ladle, 1684, given to the Fishmongers' Livery, on the Coronation of King George VI, 12th May 1937.
