A Chinese spinach-green jade three-piece scholar's set
comprising a quatrefoil censer and domed cover with coiled dragon and flaming pearl finial, above further dragons and ruyi-sceptre and ring handles, the body carved with stylised phoenix and guei dragons -- 8¼.in (21cm) high, fitted wood stand; a tapering quatrefoil vase with similar handles, carved with archaic-style dragons -- 7½.in (19.1cm), wood stand; and a similar rectangular box and cover carved with a stylised lotus spray within a border of ruyi-heads and key-pattern bands to the sides -- 3¾.in (9.5cm) long, wood stand, early 19th Century.
