Provenance: "From the Library of Charles James Fox. Bought by [?]RLH at the Sale of the Saint Anne's Hill Library, 26 November 1924" (pencil inscription on front free endpaper of vol. one). Loosely-inserted are 2 fragments of a contemporary letter, at one time used as a bookmark, making reference to a Mrs Fox, with a modern letter of provenance. (12)
