A small keyless minute repeating watch movement
Movement circa 1900, case London, 1979
The frosted gilt bar movement jewelled to the centre, the bimetallic balance with blued steel hairspring with end curves, lever escapement, repeating hours, quarters and minutes on two gongs by actuating a slide in the band, the white enamel dial with Roman numerals and Arabic five minute divisions, subsidiary seconds, gold hands, in plain (later) pink gold open face case, with hinged back and glazed cuvette, stamped 'MRM' for Martin Matthews
