First half 19th Century
The frosted gilt movement with going barrel, spring detent chronometer escapement, the monometallic three armed balance with flat hair spring, ruby endstone, bimetallic temperature curb anchored to the steel regulator, the white enamel dial with eccentric Arabic chapter ring, outer second ring with five second divisions, blued steel hands, sweep centre seconds hand indicating half seconds, in later silver open face case
49 mm. diam.
