Bought NAWCC, 12 February, 1988.

This ingenious design by Jason R. Hopkins was patented in 1875, was a low cost version of a rotating mechanism to average out position errors and eliminating the time involved in adjusting to various positions. The watch sold originally for $10. The company closed in 1883 having produced 3,230 watches.
