The typical chased and engraved movement with hanging barrel, bimetallic balance and lever escapement, jewelled to the centre, the painted enamel dial with eccentric Roman chapter ring, maritime scene with a windmill, the (lacking) sails turning, aperture revealing a mock pendulum, sweep centre seconds, in plain silver case, case and movement signed
