An unusual silver skeletonised hour and quarter hour clockwatch with double duplex escapement
Circa 1830
The chased and engraved gilt two train movement with hanging barrels, steel three armed balance wheel, double wheel duplex escapement, striking hours and quarters on two gongs, the silver dial with Roman numerals and outer minute ring, cut in four sectors to reveal the under dial striking work, blued steel moon hands, in silver case with coin edge band and glazed covers to front and back
