Bearing Chinese signature for Dimier Frères. Circa 1850
The profusely decorated skeletonised cylinder movement with hanging barrel, flat steel balance with typical blued steel 'wings', cylinder escapement, the white enamel dial with Roman numerals and outer quarter hour marks, typical blued steel hands, in gilt case with hinged glazed cuvette, the rear panel of pink and white overlaid and reverse cut glass, depicting birds and foliage
