A Continental quarter-repeating pocket watch with erotic scene
Circa 1825
The frosted gilt chain fusee movement with pierced and chased bridge cock, ruby endstone, repeating the hours and quarters by depressing the pendant, under hinged gilt dust cover, secret catch in the cover revealing an erotic scene actuated by a lever from the movement, the white enamel dial with stylised Arabic numerals, blued steel moon hands, in plain gold case with ribbed band
