The frosted gilt chain fusee movement with plain cock and foot, engraved J. Mayfield, AD 1825, with diamond endstone, the bimetallic balance with free-sprung blued steel helical spiral, steel English lever escapewheel with jewelled pallets and screwed banking pins, jewelled to the third with screwed chatons, the white enamel dial with regulator layout, offset Roman chapter ring, outer minute ring with Arabic five minute divisions, eccentric seconds below the 12, blued steel hands, in silver consular case with gold hinges
