The gilt chain fusee movement with Arnold's spring detent chronometer escapement, free sprung bimetallic 'S' balance with timing screws to the ends of the arms, diamond endstone, engraved cock and foot, dust shield to the winding arbor, blued steel setup, the white enamel dial with Roman numerals, outer minute ring, large subsidiary seconds, gold spade hands, in plain case, the maker's mark TH for Thomas Hardy,
