J. Laresche, Paris, No. 1551. Second quarter 19th Century
The alarm spring within a silvered drum signed NVT. Laresche, No. 1551 and resting on two paw feet, the top with silver plaque engraved J.L GALERIE VALOUIS PALAIS ROYAL No. 164, the silvered alarm set disc with brass star wheel and milled button to advance the star wheel and turn the hands on the white enamel Arabic dial of the watch movement with bridgecock verge escapement; with later(?) travelling wood box
