A.C., No. 103. Circa 1870
The ebonised rectangular base with fluted column supporting the dial with ormolu frame and foliate cast cresting, the dial consisting of two glass plates, frontplate with bevelled edges and white painted Arabic chapters, pierced brass hands, the minute hand connected to the rear glass plate receiving small circular motion from the movement in the base with going barrel and cylinder escapement, the backplate stamped A.C. 103
