The arched dial with applied Roman and Arabic chapter ring with blued steel hands (later minute hand) front swinging pendulum with coin-bob, the dial plate engraved with scrollwork to the spandrels and an eight-pointed star to the centre, the arch signed FRANZ XAVERI SEYTZ, in MÜNCHEN, within a wheatear garlanded cartouche, the movement with going barrel and verge escapement, the centre arbor running through to the rear motionwork for the concave brass circular rear dial engraved with reversed chapters and single steel hour hand, lacking minute hand, the left side door engraved EXDono P.R.
