The engine-turned gilt dial signed JAMES McCABE ROYAL EXCHANGE LONDON 3127, painted Roman chapter ring with blued steel fleur-de-lys hands, strike/silent lever over XII, twin chain fusee movement with anchor escapement and strike on a bell, wedge-shaped Weeks-type pendulum, the case with brass drum movement casing surmounted by a pineapple finial and resting on a concave moulded case with foliate cast pad feet
