ALBERT ODMARK NOTES
Purchased July 5, 1963 from Malcolm Gardner, Otford, England.

This chronometer was issued to the Royal Navy in September 1867 and first saw service in H.M.S. Juno in 1868. It was re-issued to five further Royal Naval vessels until it was transferred to the Australian Navy in 1913. Firstly to the Bermuda in 1916 and then Lindquist in 1916. In 1917 it was 'cut off the books.'
