The case of typical form with quatrefoil etched frosted glass to the lower rectangular door, the upper door with foliate painted frosted glass beneath the dial with convex Roman chapters and blued steel hands, the movement of typical form with strike on a coiled gong and with iron leaf springs and levers with brass chain to iron pulleys, with original trade label pasted to the inside of the backboard BIRGE & FULLER, BRISTOL, CONN.
