The twin barrel movement with substantial platform with bridged lever escapement with cut bimetallic balance with wedged-shaped heat compensation weights with blued steel helical spring, countwheel strike on a bell secured to the backplated stamped JULES A PARIS, 844, the white enamel Roman dial with blued moon hands within a foliate engraved gilt mask, the one-piece case with door to rear and folding handle to the top
