The case engraved overall with scrolling foliage and having a foliate cast handle with lion's head with hinges to the top centered by an oval bevelled glass aperture with push repeat button to the front and acorn finials to the outset angles supported on detached foliate engraved baluster columns, the white enamel Roman dial with blued moon hands, and subsidiary alarm below, the single barrel movement with hour and half-hour strike on a bell, gilt lever platform with plain steel three-arm balance with foliate engraved balance cock, the backplate stamped at the base PINCHON À PARIS
