The dial with silver champlevé Roman and Arabic chapter ring with central silver alarm disc, later blued steel hands, foliate engraved spandrels with strike/silent lever by chapter XV or 15?, the hexagonal movement with six ringed pillars and signed on the border engraved backplate Cabrier London, the going train with chain fusee, verge escapement with foliate pierced and engraved balance cock, going barrels for the hour and quarter strike on a bell in the hinged base via grotesque-engraved hammers, manual trip repeat, the case with foliate engraving to the convex border around the dial, the band set with glazed apertures within D-ended silvered frames, the base on winged ball-and-claw feet
