The case with brass urn finial to swan-neck pediment above the hygrometer, brass framed glazed cover to the upper barometer with silvered Vernier above a detachable bow-front mercurial thermometer, the wheel barometer with silvered calibrated scale with blued steel barometer hand and pierced brass recording hand adjusted via an ivory knop below
