The rounded rectangular red leather-lined top above two frieze drawers on opposing sides and a flap enclosing divisions on opposing sides, on an octagonal panelled shaft with hipped downswept legs with brass caps and castors, the underside inscribed in chalk 'A2E G2', the handles replaced, the marquetry probably of later date, the drawers with concave-quarter fillets
