Of shaped rectangular form with double-canted ends, each side with a painted oval miniature depicting bucolic pastoral scenes, after Angelica Kauffmann, the interior with a division and lined in foil and tortoiseshell and with two tortoiseshell-veneered loose lids
6 in. (15 cm.) high; 6½ in. (16.5 cm.) wide; 4¼ in. (11 cm.) deep
