LATE 18TH CENTURY
The hinged lid with central oval panel surrounded by swags above a body with an ellipse surrounded by foliage flanked by simulated flutes, the upper edge with inlaid husks, the interior with removable lid with oval end-cut panel; with two Regency black and red-japanned spill-vases, each decorated with Chinoiserie figures in landscapes on a yellow ground
The tea-caddy: 5 in. (12.5 cm.) high; 5¾ in. (14.5 cm.) wide; 4 in. (10 cm.) deep
